Reservoir: Lower Pierce 2

Robert Peirce was municipal engineer of Singapore from 1901 to 1916. Prior to his appointment in Singapore, he had been an engineer to the Municipal Commissioner of George Town, Penang. There, he designed the Queen Victoria clock. The street Jalan Peirce is named after him. A wide variety of flora and fauna can be found here. However, I could only come up with shot of this nonchalant resident.

Chief Engineer servers the work site.
Ayush Basu: Nothing unsafe or unsecured for him and his family, Ray. He has high standards.
He looks pretty laid back Ayush.
Ayush Basu: He just about owns this place, Frank.
Il a l'air d'être habitué aux photos.

He couldn't care less about Mr Pierce
Ayush Basu: He has just about taken ownership of this place now, Bill grin
Looking pretty relaxed.
Ayush Basu: He just about owns this place, Tom.
A very nice capture here!
Ayush Basu: A chance coming upon. I was, several occasions in my childhood, accosted by monkeys so I tend to 'shoot' them from far, Elizabeth.
HAHA, Ayush. Your nonchalant resident is better than enough for this obviously famous place in the city.
Ayush Basu: grin He (and his likes) is undisputed here, Ginnie.
no matter how much you trust that monkey, don't give him a gun lol great shot, Ayush!
Ayush Basu: I would not give him my camera either, Elaine. grin

I think that is a great portrait of the local resident, Ayush. I wonder if there is enough food for him or are they fed extra by the city?
Ayush Basu: Oh I imagine he can comfortably survive, Astrid. As a matter of fact, there are signs prohibiting people to feed monkeys with snacks and other 'food' that humans bring along. It encourages bad habits for these monkeys. While they might be used to the sight of humans, they are still considered wild, so they need to be able to fend for themselves.

Ayush Basu: While they might be used to the sight of humans, they are still considered wild, so they need to be able to fend for themselves, Sherri. This one was probably investigating something on the boardwalk.

I love the DoF in this photo presenting the monkey in fine detail against his background.
