By far one of the easiest situations I have shot butterflies in. This butterfly apparently does not fly high, tends to linger for a long while on vegetation and stays in relatively sunny, open spaces. All I had to do was plop down in the vegetation and shoot away. If it feels threatened, it may release a pungent smell to deter a potential predator. According to a plaque nearby, it is the passiflora this butterfly is feeding on.
