Little India Walkabout 4

However the Indian-ness of the Singapore Indian community had, already since the past 200 years, started to evolve in a uniquely Singaporean way. In recent times, contact with India remains and there is still a sizable workforce coming in from India. However, there is greater stratification: skilled, higher income groups that work in technology and banking, and, lower income groups that work in construction and infrastructure. This is a passport in Malay language, followed by English.

Five feet and zero inches - trouble seeing him over the counter top. He has no hair but they are grey.
Passports are interesting.
Ayush Basu: I did note the height, Louis. I found it interesting that occupation was listed there, as if it was completely un-thought of to make a career change? And this photo would be rejected by today's standards, of course.
