A ride on a not crowded minibus service #1.
I had been led to believe that it may not be a straightforward experience taking the public transport, especially the buses, with my complete lack of Thai language. Based on my grand total of two rides, I think it could not have been better. The ticket was less than a tenth of what a taxi would have cost me, I got a comfortable seat and the interior was well ventilated (number of ceiling fans + open windows).
The driver is on the right side, not visible, and the lady in dark blue, up left is the conductor. She was kind enough to point me out where I needed to get down. So overall, an uneventful ride, fortunately.
