Intramuros HDR

The entrance to the foresaid gardens. They are not much but right in the heart of a bustling metropolis and thus heartily welcome, I suppose. Very peaceful to walk inside. They used to part of a defensive moat to surround Intramuros. Today, Puerta Real Gardens provide a venue for Intramuros Evenings, a series of cultural shows, I am told.

I recall that there are many little gems compressed into this old town...i spent time in a moat garden, but not this one.

Such places can be havens in busy cities.
That is a gorgeous gate and you used the greenery nicely to accentuate it.
