.... Boat Friday, that is.
In the Philippines, the sea is never far away from you. This is another shot from the Philippines trip, on Tinambacan beach. It was sundown and the tide is out. The pellets seen in the foreground are the result of excavations by crabs, who would hide under the sand as we approached and would surface again once there was no one around. I tried to get this shot very low down, hence the fuzzy focus.
The beach is fairly flat hence there was a lot of ground to walk around and take in the view of the coast from the seaside. Furthermore, I liked the concept of the bamboo outposts which give these boats the necessary balance to go out to sea and withstand broad size waves without tipping over.
