Negotiation

In the old town, streets are rather narrow and there are several sharp turns. The drivers of the tonga and the jeep are minding clearances and guiding each other as to who makes which adjustments in which directions. Normally larger vehicles were not seen in the city centre, but this is a jeep marked "Police", perhaps that is why an exception is made - I have no clue.

Pas facile de se croiser dans une rue si étroite.
Ayush Basu: This area has seen very little change in the, I imagine, last four hundred years, Martine.
J'aime beaucoup cette photos de rue. Sourires.... car oui, là  en effet, la négociation est nécessaire ;-)
Bonne journée Ayush
Ayush Basu: I am pleased with your reaction, Pascale. In the end, it was rather smooth and uneventful. smile

I hope the cart driver knows about the deep gully on the side of the road Ayush.
Ayush Basu: I expect he lives somewhere in the old town so he should be familiar with it like the back of his hand, Chad.
I hate to think of a Satnav sending a big truck down this road smile
Ayush Basu: Good point smile I expect if it is a driver from these parts, he will know better, Brian.
Nice street scene!
Ayush Basu: It was over without any fuss though!
No arguing with the police!
Ayush Basu: Or the horse, Bill grin

There does not seem to be a lot of room. Interesting to see motorcycle riders wearing helmets; a rare sight I would have thought.
Ayush Basu: This area has seen very little change in the, I imagine, last four hundred years, Alan. Good observation, perhaps the decade of campaigning is slowly beginning to pay offsmile

Good that such care is taken, Ayush
Ayush Basu: I am sure this happens quite frequently there, Lisl.
It certainly looks like a tight squeeze. A fabulous scene.
Ayush Basu: I was lucky to have chanced upon it, Michael.
what a scene! so interesting to look at!
Ayush Basu: The horse could not be bothered, Elaine smile
You captured the horse driver at the perfect time.
Ayush Basu: A bit of luck, really, Mary. smile
