Foraging

This little fella was scampering in and out of openings in the parapet. However, I had intended to be there for quite a while, enjoying the sun going down slowly. After a while, he decided I was not a threat and I was able to get this shot without alarming him. Those are some bits of coconut, by the way.

The bolts play a significant role in this encounter, Ayush.
Ayush Basu: They anchor the elements well, Ray.
Are you putting the screws to him, Ayush?
Ayush Basu: Not to such an adorable character, Larry :smile

i don't think i've seen a detailed shot of the entire body

it's typically just a face shot

Ayush Basu: I am pleased you liked it, Sherri.
What a great photo, Ayush! You did well with this opportunity!

Nice that you have decided to photograph some wildlife, Ayush
Ayush Basu: They really caught my eye and I guess the close ups are revealing in that sense, Lisl.
This fella surely knows what's good for him, Ayush, if he's eating the bits of coconut. How fun for you to have him settle down long enough for this shot.
Ayush Basu: Yes, I quite liked having him around without scooting off, Ginnie.

Ayush, don't you love these wonderful moments, to be able and wait and capture this little fellow. What a poser and a great picture!!
Ayush Basu: Not a planned shot and I think I do not have any other shots that up close and personal, Astrid.

The squirrel is enjoying the coconut too much to pay you much attention. It is normal with birds too, once they caught the worm I can get close enough for good shots.
Ayush Basu: I understand the rationale, Louis. I have seen some bird shots with insect shots, fascinating stuff!
What a cute little character.
Ayush Basu: He won me over, Brian.
He looks like he is singing at a microphone stand.
Ayush Basu: Haha, it does look like that now that you mention it, Mary.
A cute shot, Ayush.
Ayush Basu: Thank you, Frank.
A neat shot!
Ayush Basu: Thank you, Tom.
Beautiful close-up. Bravo
Ayush Basu: Thank you for the generous comment, Claudio.
