Amber Fort: Ceiling

The ceilings (mostly for the private quarters of the Maharaja) had inlaid mirror bits, to make candle nights brighter. Some of the other ceilings were comparatively plainer, and I am not sure if they are post or pre restoration. The simple symmetry works for me though.

That is amazing.

It looks upholstered to me smile - but still beautiful.
Looks like natural pigments were used.
