photoblog image Amber Fort: Third Longest Wall

Amber Fort: Third Longest Wall

Similar to the Great Wall of China, there is a wall going around the fort and the town. It, at about 35km, going over the hills of the region, is nowhere close in length to that of its Oriental cousin, but still is impressive.

Quite impressive and your shot captures the perspective.
Ayush Basu: It was easy capturing this magnificent monument, Beth.
Really climbs that hill... hope there are more shots of it to come...

Yes it is very impressive. Going up all those steps would be a test on the thighs and coming down would be a test on the knees. I’m happy to view from this distance.
Ayush Basu: You are absolutely right, Alan. I would like to think I am in good enough shape to do some of the distance. Our party however did not manage to make any time for it.

IMPRESSIVE, Ayush. I so love the background letting the foreground stand out.

I will write you over the weekend!!!
Ayush Basu: I liked the placement of this wall too, Astrid. It was easy taking this picture of the magnificent spot.
I want to walk it, peter. What a fabulous shot.
Ayush Basu: I would like to walk it too, Mary - although our party eventually did not manage to make time for it.
Sorry Ayush. I thought this was peter's blog.
Ayush Basu: That is quite alright, Mary.
What a gret point of view you had Ayush, I never knew about this at all.
Ayush Basu: And me neither, Brian.
It's when I imagined looking at the picture, surely it will not compete with the Great Wall, but 35 km. they are not few
Ayush Basu: That is a good point, Claudio.
A very impressive wall, Ayush, you have captured it very well.
Ayush Basu: I had it easy. All I had to do was click on the shutter for this magnificent scene, Frank.
Very impressive Ayush. I would be puffing climbing all those steps!
Ayush Basu: Oh so would I, without a doubt, Bill.
It's really amazing, Ayush! Great point of view for the image!
Ayush Basu: All I had to do was click on the shutter for this magnificent scene, Elizabeth.
That is a wonderful image.
Ayush Basu: Thank you, Michael.
Looks as though it is in better state of repair than most of the Chinese version smile
Ayush Basu: All I had to do was click on the shutter for this magnificent scene, Tom. I would not know about the Chinese version though.
