Kek Lok Si Temple 6

The lead up to the temple is heavily occupied with shops selling touristic souvenirs and religious paraphernalia. These are wish ribbons, available for purchase, depending on what state in life you find yourself to be. As can be seen, it can be fairly extensive.

If I get around to starting a religion, Ayush, I am going to have a shop selling these ribbons... smile
Ayush Basu: These ribbons are a novelty to me, Ray.
I would be scared to miss one out, Ayush! It could end up being expensive....
Ayush Basu: I wonder which "enterprising" person came up with this idea....
I really love your shallow depth of field, Ayush
Ayush Basu: Thank you, Elizabeth.
A ribbon for anything and everything, Ayush. I really like that.
Ayush Basu: Very "enterprising" for someone to come up with a money spinner like this, Ginnie.

I love the point of focus and it will be hard to choose from all the ribbons....
Ayush Basu: There is no restriction on the number of ribbons to purchase, Astrid. It was unusual for me too.

I imagine you didn't buy one yourself Ayush
Ayush Basu: I did not feel inclined to support this money spinning concept, Chris. A picture of it was just fine.

I'll have a couple of each Ayush.
Ayush Basu: I wonder if one purchases the "Smooth working conditions" and things at work do not smoothen out, Chad?
Family to be safe would be the one for me I think Ayush
Ayush Basu: I did not buy any, but if I did, that would be the one for me too, Bill.

Whatever your wish, there will be a ribbon ...
Ayush Basu: Oh yes, to make some money for the one who put up the cubicle, Louis.

that's neat!! i love this shot, so far my fave out of your temple tour smile
Ayush Basu: Thank you Elaine, you have followed all my posts regularly!
If you buy one of each I guess you're well covered for the future smile
Ayush Basu: You make it sound like insurance, Brian smile
Prayers and shrines, temples or churches are synonymous.
Ayush Basu: I agree with you on this, Mary.
Fascinating - a ribbon for every wish.
