That is quite elaborate brickwork, Ayush.
Ayush Basu: I quite like the horizontal bricks in the wall and the vertical ones around the lintel, Ray.

This is a fabulous picture of the brickwork and we had a great day in Venlo. Thank you for putting in the other pictures. A memory to keep and we do hope that one day they need you back in Venlo smile
Ayush Basu: I had a memorable day too, Astrid. I do hope there is a need soon because I did enjoy the stimulating work atmosphere there.
What a delight it is Ayush
Ayush Basu: It certainly was a pleasure to have captured this, Bill.
I love all the symmetry with even the curtains the same in each window.
Ayush Basu: It was asking to be photographed, Mary.
What a lovely building, I like the small statue above the door.
Ayush Basu: Yes, I like those additional, unique touches, Brian.
A wonder...
Ayush Basu: Please to know, Larry.
What a beautiful building - like the symmetry of your composition!
Ayush Basu: It was asking to be photographed, Elizabeth. Thank you.
I especially like all the flower boxes at each window with their pops of colour.
Ayush Basu: You are quite right, Jacquelyn. And in my opinion, they are effective too because every once in a while when it gets cloudy and dull, the flower pots help a lot.

Ayush Basu: They really showed me around a lot when I visited them in Gorinchem, Elaine.
I'll never forget it, Ayush. Thanks for the reminder. We'll have to "do it" again, the next time you come. smile
Ayush Basu: It was a memorable day for me and also the time I spent with you in Gorinchem, Ginnie. Thank you for all the thought and care.

Ayush Basu: Oh yes, I did. Astrid and Ginnie put in a lot of thought and effort when I saw them in Gorinchem.

Isn't the brick work fantastic. Super shot.
Ayush Basu: Thank you. It was just waiting to be captured.
Ginnie and Astrid are great hosts Ayush, I'm sure you had a great tour.
Ayush Basu: This was in Venlo, so ironically, I was the tour guide. But for sure, Ginnie and Astrid put in a lot of thought and effort when I visited them in Gorinchem.

The building looks concave - wonder if it is my imagination. At 32mm it shouldn't be lens distortion. It could be the irregular brickwork, that has me seeing things.
Ayush Basu: Excellent observation. And normally the distortion is the other way, somewhat barrel shaped or convex. So it could be the irregular brickwork. But the lintel of the door and the first floor windows seem to be straight, isn't it, Louis? Thank you for the studied comment.
wonderful masonry Ayush... i love the colour as much as the patterns....petersmile
Ayush Basu: Yes, I like them both as well, it really pops out, Peter.

Lovely brickwork and details. Fine memories of a good day out with friends smile
Ayush Basu: Thank you, Cherie. I had a wonderful day and everything went very well.
Fascinating brickwork!
Ayush Basu: Very pleasing to the eyes, LC. You may consider making a trip to NL.
