Matches your narrative very nicely, Ayush!
Ayush Basu: Now that I look at them, I wish I had taken care to get rid of the tennis court in the rear. Thank you, Ray.
Nice action shots.
Ayush Basu: Thank you very much, Michael.

Those men are speed machines..
Ayush Basu: I agree, Chris, and also enduring ones.
La course à  la médaille.
Ayush Basu: Neither of the two finished on the podium, but all ten qualifiers completed the event and had reasonably decent finish times, Martine.

Interesting to see one wearing a hat and the other wearing glasses; I would thought that they would have been stripped down to the minimum. In a race of that length, they have plenty of time to let someone else set the pace for a while.
Ayush Basu: I am guessing that they were permitted by race officials but apart from that, I am not sure of their influence, Alan. I have a post coming up which will show the result between these two athletes.

No 1 looks very relaxed
Ayush Basu: Compared to me, all ten of them were extreeeeemely relaxed, Lisl grin
They are not carrying much fat Ayush.
Ayush Basu: Somebody needs to tell them to stop running, now that the race is over, Chad.
I like this so much as a post where so many shots could have been chosen.
Ayush Basu: This event (10,000m) took place for almost half an hour so I had the luxury to change my angles and take several shots of several athletes. Some would say it can be boring but I found something to see throughout, Mary. Thank you for that comment.
Can you recall which one finished in front of the other from these two Ayush?
Ayush Basu: That is the question now, isn't it? smileI will disclose that in a coming post, Brian
The guy in green looks very relaxed.
Ayush Basu: He paced himself very well and had no signs of exhaustion even till the very end, Bill.
Run for gold!
Ayush Basu: Neither of the two finished on the podium, but all ten qualifiers completed the event and had reasonably decent finish times, LC.
I like the way they are matching stride in the second pic...
Ayush Basu: I wonder if the one trailing behind did that (consciously or unconsciously), Larry.

The perfect title - but who won?
Ayush Basu: Neither of the two finished on the podium, but all ten qualifiers completed the event and had reasonably decent finish times, Mike.
And at times are in total synch, I see! WOW.

The legs of no 9 are like the legs of a guy I helped training for ultra marathons. They seem to start up high. I just loved those legs - they seemed to carry the man so effortlessly.
