Women's Discus

Insaeng Subenrat (Thailand) claims gold (56.37m) in Women’s Discus Throw during the 18th ASEAN University Games 2016 on 17 July at Choa Chu Kang Stadium.

Note: my default shmood setting was a neutral yellow all these years. I changed it to red (meaning brickbats accepted with bouquets). Although I myself have never paid attention to other people's set shmood - just typed as I reacted.

Ok...gloves off...put up some rubbish images, Ayush, so I can rubbish them! smile

Your discus images have been full of action, concentration and power!
Ayush Basu: smile
It was a unique opportunity for me, Ray.
J'adore le détail des expressions que tu arrives à  prendre.
Ayush Basu: J'ai de la chance, Martine.
I was fortunate to be able to capture this sport.

That is the face of concentration! Looks intense!
Ayush Basu: She was very well focussed on her delivery, Emily.

I think we should all type as we react Ayush - a fine action shot here
Ayush Basu: Agreed.
Thank you, Chris.
You can really see the concentration and effort here Ayush.

Mine has always been red I think. grin
Ayush Basu: I am curious to see if I can detect any difference in the tone of the replies from now on, Bill. smile
The effort is tremendous to say the least.
Lady Discus throwers always seem to be on the "bulky" side don't they.
Ayush Basu: I agree with your assessment, Brian. I would not know, not having participated actively in throwing anything (javelin, hammer, discus, shot).
Dang - she looks strong!

I admit I never really paid attention to the ScMoods either!
Ayush Basu: She had some impressive throws, Elizabeth.

You are good at catching the discuss, as part of the action.
Ayush Basu: I would not dream of catching a discus, especially when it has been lobbed into the air!
grin Just kidding, I got you the first time, Louis. Thank you very much.

woah, now she's looking INTENSE!! and you captured it so well!! i wonder why they thought throwing a disc should be a sport? hmmm?
Ayush Basu: I have no clue, Elaine. And it is just one of the things they toss - javelin, hammer, shot....

My goodness - what an effort!
Ayush Basu: Tremendous, isn't it, Lisl?
Such a look of concentration...
Ayush Basu: I salute her focus and dedication, Larry.

I've never understood what the shmood setting was all about in any case so never took any notice! The power on her effort is obvious here.
Ayush Basu: Thank you, Alan.
Me neither, but if I can improve my photography through criticism, I would look forward to it.
Full of energy.
Ayush Basu: Well summed up, LC.

Thank you for explanation about the ShMood setting. I had wondered what they were about!
Ayush Basu: Key takeaway is that if you see a red face, you have the license to be rather blunt and rude, Cherie grin I suppose it is a thoughtful feature in the sense that there seems to be a fair bit of online conflicts, a heads-up to visitors should probably sort that out. Not for me though - if I can improve my photography through criticism, I would look forward to it.
