Vietnamese Contingent

I had some time on my hands, so I walked through the stands. I had a 70-200mm lens on, so this is the most that I could squeeze in. Some of these faces will be seen again later in the series - they are athletes participating in some of the categories.

Ayush Basu: We have all had a moment or two of those, Alan. They were happy indeed to be participating there.

Happy smiles here.. I am sure they were flattered that you captured them.
Ayush Basu: They were certainly very friendly and approachable, Astrid. None of the "do not invade my personal/private space" or "what business is it of yours......."
They look as if they are enjoying every minute
Ayush Basu: They had some time to lay back and check out other events, Bill.
Lots of smiley faces, Ayush...smile
Ayush Basu: I was telling Astrid that they were certainly very friendly and approachable, Frank. None of the "do not invade my personal/private space" or "what business is it of yours......."
They look happy to be there and at seeing you immortalizing them.
Ayush Basu: They were friendly and approachable indeed, Mary.
a nice cheeky grin....
Ayush Basu: I found some measure of frank and open-heartedness there, Rob. Thank you for the comment.
We're seeing lots of happy athletes the world over these days, Ayush!

i like the way it looks with that lens! kind of artistic in it's own way smile
Ayush Basu: I suppose you are right in your opinion, Elaine. But I think the people left blurry would not be too happy if I showed them this image tongue
