Life from a dog's point of view: 1

It either fits in the mouth or it does not.

I had the opportunity to take some photos and was reminded of a book called "Inside of a Dog". I recollect a handful of conjectures the author made, on what the world might be to a dog.

She is a nice-looking bitch, Ayush.
Ayush Basu: She received a lot of petting, Ray.

Elle est très élégante avec son beau bandana rouge.
Ayush Basu: elle n'a pas le choix
She had no say in that matter, Martine. smile

A wonderful picture and I am sure that somebody will pick her..
BTW. Kim Murray, the wife of Andy, wrote this book......
Your picture reminded me of that smile

Ayush Basu: Haha, that looks like another fun book to digest, Astrid. Thank you for that.
Oh, yes! Someone will definitely pick her, Ayush. I love it. I think she's yawning because she's so excited she doesn't know what else to do...while waiting!
Ayush Basu: She was yawning indeed, Ginnie. A bit too much of the getting petted perhaps. smile

Perhaps she is just hot, Ayush
Ayush Basu: She could not be bothered about all the surroundings and was just in the mood for a settling down, Lisl.

They do not have our perspective on the world
Ayush Basu: You are right and the book did describe how different it is, Chris.

I think the leg in the background would fit quite nicely. Let;s hope she soon finds a loving home. All my cats I've had have come from rescue centres.
Ayush Basu: Haha, I hope not though. There are very few volunteers helping out as it is, Alan. Very commendable, your giving a second chance to the cats.
Probably feeling hot Ayush! Nice capture.
Ayush Basu: It was actually an overcast day with a fair bit of precipitation, Richard.
Just perfect shot!
Ayush Basu: Thank you kindly, Roland!
That is a very good one too Ayush, something I never really assess when I see an object. This one looks pregnant too.
Ayush Basu: A simplified way of looking at things, Chad. Dogs almost always will investigate objects with their mouths, tongues and of course, noses.

His yawn seems to be at variance with the owners wishes - I hope he got picked.
Ayush Basu: She had been patient all morning as she was paraded in front of prospective adopters and I guess she was in the mood for a good sit down.
Some dogs love something in their mouths, some do not. This lady would like a nap.

Ayush Basu: Thank you for the "awww", Elaine. There were a lot of adorable ones.
She's a fine looking dog Ayush, what I call a proper dog!
Ayush Basu: Yes, she is a mongrel, euphemistically known as Singapore Special, Brian. Thank you

She looks a good and healthy specimen.
Ayush Basu: She and all the other dogs were also rescued from the streets and up for adoption, Louis.
It's a world of smells for a dog, I think.
Ayush Basu: Also true, Tom. In fact they rely on it more than sight.
Dogs have a very uncomplicated view of the world Ayush
Ayush Basu: Something we can learn, Bill.
A happy dog, Ayush. Good to see.
Ayush Basu: I was pleased to see this dog, Frank. I am confident he has a loving home.

This seems to be an interesting series. I hope she will find a good home.
Ayush Basu: She has a home already but yes, I do hope all the other dogs rescued from the streets and up for adoption, fine their respective happy homes, Philine. Thank you.
We have so many stray dogs in Malaysia!
Ayush Basu: Yes, I read about it in the media every now and then, LC.
Is the dog in a shelter? I see the pick-me scarf...
Ayush Basu: Precisely. She and all the other dogs were also rescued from the streets and up for adoption, Larry.

Ah, the life of a dog! Nice shot.
Ayush Basu: Thank you, Beth.
That's a good looking dog, Ayush! I hope someone did pick her!
Ayush Basu: I do not know of the result end of the day but I do hope you are right, Elizabeth.
