Tennis at SEA Games 2015

I had the opportunity to shoot as a photography volunteer last year for the Southeast Asian Games, held in Singapore from 6 to 14 June 2015. Seeing that it is almost a year since then, I will post some images from then.

Very nice start to the series, Ayush.
Ayush Basu: Thank you, Ray. Sports photography is something that always pushes me out of my comfort.
That is a very nice moment.
Ayush Basu: One of several shots, Michael. A good utilization of the burst mode feature on my camera.
A wonderful beginning - I love this moment when they're concentrating - just about to start the action!
Ayush Basu: I had a good view of the proceedings and since photographers are not permitted to move around during a set, I had all the time to plonk myself down and get a bunch of shots.
this is a magnificent shot Ayush... love the depth of field... i can even see the sweat on her forehead....petersmile
Ayush Basu: I used the f2.8, 70-200mm lens on this occasion, Peter and it is a wonderful tool.
Très jolie photo sportive.
Ayush Basu: Merci beaucoup. parfois je tente. il y a beaucoup de choses à apprendre
Thank you, Martine. Sometimes I get the opportunity to indulge in a bit of sports photography and I have a long way to go.

Oh good for you. She is focussed on her play.
Ayush Basu: Thank you. I have a few more shots of her and she was really focussed on her game, Alan.
You beautifully captured a nice moment Ayush!
Ayush Basu: Very kind of you to say so, Richard.
A fine opportunity Ayush, and good starting picture.
Ayush Basu: It was certainly a memorable experience for me, Brian. Thank you.
Yeah the SEA Games!
How many countries are there now?
Ayush Basu: A total of 9 participated in tennis at the SEA Games 2015 but there were more in other sports, LC.
Well taken, Ayush!
Ayush Basu: Thank you, Tom.
How fun, Ayush. At the rate I'm going, I'll still be showing my Malta pics a year from after we were there. grin
Ayush Basu: Oh I totally understand, Ginnie. As you well recall, I have several weeks and months worth of images from Venlo and elsewhere in the Netherlands - enough ammo for every soul on SC to be fed up grin

A fast time lag would be great - I think.
Ayush Basu: I like the way you think, Louis.
