photoblog image Sunday Sunset

Sunday Sunset

I had some time to while away on a Sunday afternoon before running an errand. Finding myself at Singapore's West Coast Park with a camera with me, I was all for a cold drink and a leisurely stroll around and take in the activities around.

I liked the stark contrast between the gleaming yachts and the bumboat. Seen in the rear is part of the Pasir Panjang Port.

It is a fabulous outcome, Ayush.
Nice shot of that busy water.

A greater contrast could not be imagined between these two craft Ayush - well spotted!

Please read the text under my yesterday's post to tell you about the next Shutterchance meet up
The port looks massive Ayush, but then Singie is a big player in world trade.
Reminds me of the times when I was a shipping agent in South Africa a few decades ago with these gantries Ayush!
We get huge, huge yachts coming to the island sometimes. I always think about the amount of fuel they must burn.

Looks hot so that cold drink would be a must.

Yes - the contrast is very marked - good to catch them together
What a contrast, guess which boats cost the least to build smile
There is certainly a contrast in the boats on show here, Ayush.

Leisure, industry and a bumboat. What a mix. One day, when it is busy, you should do a time lapse around here.

The old and the new sharing the harbour - I know which one I could afford a ride in ;o)
A telling contrast, Ayush!
Jurong?
Yes, I used to visit Singapore a lot when I was little. I had my swimming lessons there every weekend. Back then the exchange rate was only S$1:RM1.30
Ha ha... Now it's almost 3 now!
Busy Busy Busy...just like we sometimes like it, right, Ayush?
A very interesting scene smile
