Those seats are positively inviting, Ayush...on a warm, Spring day...
Ayush Basu: Not much human activity here, Ray but a hit with all manner of birds.
I would love to sit there with my coffee and a book.
Ayush Basu: I suppose you would have a quiet time with birds making the only sounds you could hear, Michael.
Looks like a relaxing place to sit...
Ayush Basu: It sure was a nice, quiet place, Larry.
A perfect place to sit and rest a while smile
Ayush Basu: You are right about that, Cherie. A secluded, quite place this.
What a lovely view!!! And lovely shot!
Ayush Basu: Thank you kindly, Elizabeth.
Quite a beautiful invitation to have a sit there Ayush!
Ayush Basu: Yes, Richard. It was a quiet spot and very beautiful indeed.

A very nice spot to watch the world run by Ayush
Ayush Basu: Literally run by, Chris. This spot is close to the Dutch-German border and is popular with joggers, long distance runners and cyclists and even the occasional horse back riders.

I would enjoy exploring here, Ayush
Ayush Basu: I have no doubt you would, Lisl. I might be going back there in the coming months and hope to take a closer look.
both great shots, i used to love jogging, so it kind of makes me pine...
Ayush Basu: Yes, Elaine, you've mentioned that and I can imagine you wanting to explore it.
What a lovely spot for rest and relaxation, Ayush! And, as always, your time-lapsed shots are impressive.
Ayush Basu: You've said it, Ginnie. It was right outside our back door of the temporary residence me and my colleagues had. By the way, there are some stirrings about my visit to Venlo- ongoing...
This is a quiet place to relax.
Ayush Basu: The still shot you mean, LC grin
You had a pretty good view from your room then Ayush.
Ayush Basu: Well the still shot is at the back of our temporary residence in Venlo (NL), while the video is from my Singapore residence. Quite a bit of contrast in the two, right?
Someone's private sanctuary in the forest. I can relate.
Ayush Basu: This is something like a holiday home or a nature park where it is possible to rent or even purchase one of the cottages. It appeared to me that they were expanding the number of cottages but not all of them were full. I suppose the tourist peak season had ended but in the months of summer, I expect this would be full.

That looks very inviting and I would not mind sitting there for a while.
That time lapse video is wonderful, amazing how to see the sun is setting.....how many hours of filming was this???
Ayush Basu: It was within the premises of our temporary residence the last time, Astrid. I did not sit here as I kept walking and exploring the place. I have not been down the trail, at least not the particular section seen in the image.
About the time lapse, no idea - I set it up by the window one morning while I was out doing my errands and by the time I returned, the battery was flat. But there were 2300 shots that create that video. By the way, there are some stirrings about my visit to Venlo- ongoing...
What a lovely spot to sit and enjoy the countryside.
Ayush Basu: Oh yes, Brian. This spot is close to the Dutch-German border and quite popular with joggers, cyclists and the occasional horse back riders.
No takers.
I notice on the time lapse that the parking spaces never stay empty for long
Ayush Basu: This was a kind of holiday park, Martin. And the time I was there, the peak tourist season had just ended I gather. And about the time lapse, it is a fairly large public housing complex and besides it being a weekend, I think not too many vehicles were making work trips.

Wow, this is quite a park. And I like the time lapse.
Ayush Basu: Thank you Louis, the park was my temporary residence for about seven weeks in Venlo, NL.
A nice place to sit and watch the world go by
Ayush Basu: You are right about that, Bill. This spot is close to the Dutch-German border and is popular with joggers, long distance runners and cyclists and even the occasional horse back riders.
