This work by sculptor Boniface Stirnberg was, if I understood correctly, originally at the centre of the court outside the main train station (seen behind). At some point, it was relocated by twenty odd metres or so to its current location. This was, apparently, met with a lawsuit filed by the mentioned sculptor. The Cologne Court ruled that Herr Stirnberg had no say in the location but the city authorities were called upon to stick to the original arrangement of the horses.
