Sunrise in Venlo

View from my temporary accommodation early morning, overlooking the parking spot and the E34 expressway. Window sill came in handy to jam down my camera for the light streaks.

A very pleasing outcome, Ayush.
Ayush Basu: Thank you very much, Ray. In Singapore (where there are too many things in the vertical dimension), such sights are rather rare.
That is a lovely night shot. Your use of light is terrific.
Ayush Basu: Thank you very much, Michael. You are too kind.
A lovely mysterious shot Ayush!
Ayush Basu: You are right, Richard. This was my first or second morning there in Venlo (Netherlands) and I was still getting my bearing right, so in a sense, definitely mysterious to me.

Very nice Ayush, the modern world spread out before you
Ayush Basu: A bit of a surprise to look out of the window at that hour and hear the noise of the traffic, Chris. But still a good start to the day.
Great deep blue sky and the pops of star(street)lights.
Ayush Basu: Yes, I like the star bursts as well, Jacquelyn. Thank you for the remark.
The promise of a fine day to come
Ayush Basu: Ah yes, Martin. Too bad I was cooped indoors at work for the greater part.

what kind of camera and lens do you use if you don't mind me asking? this is very cool... i like the way your shots look almost surreal
Ayush Basu: Oh nothing surreal about this, Elaine. Just that I woke up earlier than I usually do tongue I am using a Canon 7D mark 2 with 18-200mm lens.
Your innovation paid off, Ayush. smile
Ayush Basu: I hate travelling with tripods and other bulky contraptions, Ginnie, so I make do with what I can grin

What a place to stay. I hope it did not keep you awake too much...... Or was it the jet leg that kept you awake. Great shot, love the starlights
Ayush Basu: I suspect it was the latter but I was pleased to be greeted by this sight in the morning, Astrid. Thank you for your comment.
This is the blue hour - very special in the early morn. Love your shot.
Ayush Basu: You are very kind, Mary. It was special in many ways.
You were up early to geed effect Ayush
Ayush Basu: Not on all days, Bill but yes, I was pleased on this occasion.

Wonderful blue hour shot - you captured the magic of traffic!
Ayush Basu: Thank you for the warm compliment, Beth.
Love the little star lights!!
Ayush Basu: I enjoyed taking this shot early morning in the quiet, solitude of it all, Elizabeth
