Euro2015Apr-Ayush-073.jpg

I was waiting for a train and had about twenty minutes to while away. And that I did walking up and down the platform. To the left, is one of the older generation trainsets. And a close up of the one on the right will be posted next.

Very cool. A nice contrast is models.

I suppose the people have all gone to work Ayush
Ayush Basu: Unlike me, they had better things to attend to, Chris.
I love the dynamism of this photo caused by the perspective and trainsets Ayush.
Ayush Basu: Delighted with your studied remark, Chad. Thank you.
awesome vanishing point perspective! i love it!!!
Ayush Basu: Thank you for the generous comment, Elaine. I liked the perspective too.
Excellent double perspective shot Ayush!
Ayush Basu: This was a lucky shot, Richard in the sense that I stumbled to this area and there were no distractions. Thank you for the comment.
A fine view point- dead centre
Ayush Basu: Thank you Martin, the symmetry was appealing right from the start.
Amazing dissection of the space available.
Ayush Basu: This space attracted me the most, Mary. Thank you kindly.
Great composition Ayush. Love the depth to it
Ayush Basu: Thank you, Bill. The scene drew me in really.

Ayush Basu: smile Yes it does, Janet. Thank you very much for the comment. I wish you a good weekend ahead.
I like the symmetry Ayush...

A photographer is never bored with having to wait, Ayush
Ayush Basu: You are right, Lisl. And I liked having the platform all to myself actually.
Great pov, Ayush!
Ayush Basu: I am pleased you like it, Tom.

Great shot. I love the vanishing point here. I might think that the cargo train (liquids) are going into Germany.
Ayush Basu: Thank you for that interesting bit of info, Astrid. It is good that railways benefit several other industries.
There is a very nice balance to the shot.
Ayush Basu: Thank you, Michael. I liked it too
I love that sky, Ayush - and your point of view!
Ayush Basu: The sky was very dynamic; racing winds and clouds made for rapidly changing light and mood, Elizabeth. Thank you.
The trains of Europe. I love them, Ayush.
Ayush Basu: I love them too, Ginnie. In fact I love all trains. I have not had the opportunity to take one in the US.

I would like to see a time lapse from this point. It could be spectacular.
Ayush Basu: Well I did not think of doing so then, but it would be a good idea, Louis. I wonder how would it look and how would it compare to the time lapse done on an Indian or Chinese railway platform.

Nice perspective and vanishing point smile
Ayush Basu: The scene was rather conducive for me to stand here and get this shot, CP.
