Those are absolute fabulous shots, we have a guy at work and he has a wrap around his dreadlocks, the dreadlocks stand ONE FOOT on his head. Great guy BTW... Wonderful colourful pictures.
Ayush Basu: Thank you, Astrid. I can never imagine dreadlocks that long. The guy must have terrific patience to have groomed it all this long.
Great use of new technology...Superb shots Ayush!
Ayush Basu: Thank you very much, Richard
So colourful.
Ayush Basu: Is it celebrated in Malaysia too, LC?

Putting on a turban is a very skilled art. It must takes years of practice.
Great shots, Ayush.
Ayush Basu: I would assume he has done this since his childhood, Pauline.
Thank you very much
The colours and textures are fabulous here. I am assuming the phone can be turned into a mirror. I know they can be turned into a flashlight.
Ayush Basu: Thank you so much.
Perhaps he was using the front camera, Mary.
fabulous colours Ayush. They are making a big effort here
Ayush Basu: It was a very colourful event overall, Janet
Two very entertaining images Ayush.
Ayush Basu: Thank you Brian, they put in a lot of work there
...and they say men have no vanity...
Ayush Basu: Haha... well pointed out, Larry
He'll get it right with a bit of practice! smile

Lovely candid shots and the colours are so vibrant.

Can you tell me about the blue turbans? I have not seen a blue turban before.
Ayush Basu: The entire event was popping with colour and I too was rather generous with the saturation settings, Cherie.
These performers are in their Sikh costume and they wrap their uncut hair in those turbans. They can be fashioned from fabrics of all kinds and price range.
Now that pops out at you with bright colours... Good pix.
Ayush Basu: The entire event was popping with colour and I too was rather generous with the saturation settings, Jacquelyn
Ha! Very good Ayush!
Ayush Basu: No eyes were poked out in the making of this shot, Elizabeth grin
I guess iphones really do have a use. Nice shots.
Ayush Basu: Much more than just speaking on them, Michael grin
Thank you
HA! A little bit of modesty/vanity never hurt anyone. smile
Ayush Basu: True that. All in the name of a fun filled event, Ginnie
