The Maestro is passionate about the music... and the girl on the kettle drums... is having a fun day Ayush...
two great candid shots.....petersmile
Ayush Basu: Thank you Peter, I think they were well prepared and did a great job.
Great Ayush!! Some good expressions you've caught!
Ayush Basu: They were all pretty immersed into the music, Elizabeth. Thank you.
He's young for a maestro.
Ayush Basu: I wouldn't since I am often off by a long margin on this, Michael.

...like we rehearsed it. ..darn it!
Ayush Basu: He means business. A face that mostly the players can see and not the audience, Ray!
The Maetro is living his music Ayush! great captures.
Ayush Basu: Thank you very Richard, he is immersed in the moment.

Good for them! I bet they played with passion. One of the best concerts I've been to was from our National Youth Orchestra; indistguishable from the profesionals.
Ayush Basu: They were quite passionate, Alan. Even to my layman ears, their performance was excellent.
I think someone blew a false note Ayush
Ayush Basu: He/she is headed for trouble then, Bill!
Isn't music great Ayush, well done all of them.
Ayush Basu: I thought they were very good, Chad and I hope they will reach greater heights.
Good captures of facial expressions. Those kettle drums are gorgeous.
Ayush Basu: I really liked the dominating sound of those drums, Mary. Thank you for the comment.

He should be happy with all the girls listening to him. Normally not a very natural occurrence.
Ayush Basu: Haha, that is an observation I missed out. And you may well be right, Louis!

Who played the wrong note......
You had great timing here, and I think the sound might not have been that bad at all.......
Ayush Basu: Haha, could be Astrid, if so, I pity the one who did it.
It's great to see young people being involved in music like this, hopefully some of them will grace the orchestras of the world in future years.
Ayush Basu: I agree with you, Brian
Yes we need some music too!
Ayush Basu: Correct, LC!
Conductors are a demanding lot... I know--my father has been one...
Ayush Basu: I think you have been exposed to a lot of orchestra music then, Larry
