Iridescent

I regret dropping out for a while. But I am back now with some new shots.

These shots were taken at Sentosa during a visit with a photographically inclined buddy. The bottom shot is a bit tighter so the feathers fill up the frame.

Welcome back, Ayush.

The fireworks are appropriate!

Actually, you have captured the peerless display of the peacock beautifully.
Ayush Basu: Thank you very much for the warm welcome and also for your comment, Ray. National bird of India puts on an impressive display, although I did not care much for its cacophony.

Welcome back! Sometime life gets in the way but glad you are posting again. That is such a beautiful bird; how can his lady friends not be impressed which such a display.
Ayush Basu: Quite right Alan, I think we all have an excellent thing going on on SC and that always motivates to keep coming back. I appreciate your comment as well as the welcome message.

This is fabulous, what a great shot. I think this is one of the most impressive animals when it comes in 'showing off'.
Welcome back Ayush!!!!
Ayush Basu: Thank you very much for the warm welcome and also for your comment, Astrid. A grand creature indeed but its cry is equally harsh and cacophonous.

Beautiful shots, Ayush.

Who can resist the grandeur of the feathers?
Ayush Basu: You are quite right. The national bird of India, Pauline.

Ayush Basu: I completely agree with you. And to be honest, they did some fine, proud creatures, almost regal. They seemed quite ok with humans nearby too. Thank you for this comment, Peter.
You wouldn't believe it if you didn't see it with you own eyes, I know, Ayush. It's an unbelievable bird, when you stop and think about it! I like both views, btw. smile
