The Panic

That sinking feeling when you realize that there is only so much the fabrics can take.

No, not really. Actually there was an opponent close on his heels (the tip of the boots are still visible on the left edge) that he was trying to outpace.

Very good freeze action again, Ayush.
Ayush Basu: My camera performs not too bad in the open with natural lights, Ray. It's in closed auditoriums and low lights that it really struggles to keep up with the action.
Hopefully a teammate is nearby to pass the ball. Actually I'm not sure how the game works.
Ayush Basu: Me neither Michael, I gather they just need to carry over the ball to the other side which is a 'try' and then they get to convert it which is basically shooting the ball through a goal.

love the look on his face lol
Ayush Basu: Haha, that is what attracted me too, Elaine.
That guy has some arms on him...I'm not going to try and stop him, Ayush.
Ayush Basu: Oh yeah, definitely.. definitely.. I just picture those hands around somebody's neck grin
He does have a look of panic.
Ayush Basu: Doesn't he? grin Lots of moments that I captured and many more that I messed up.
I love the expression Ayush! Great capture.
Ayush Basu: Thank you very much, Richard

You can see from his face and how he holds the ball, that he is considering options, for if/when the opponent catches up.

Have you noticed the ball is not round? A statement we make to indicate that a ball can bounce in any direction.
Ayush Basu: Yes, I have heard much about the ball mechanics, Louis. These shots are from the final day of 67th SCC 7s rugby. Just a couple more to wrap up this series.
They do take their job seriously, don't they, Ayush!
Ayush Basu: They would definitely confirm that Ginnie
Looks like he is looking for someone to pass the ball to before he gets flattened!
Ayush Basu: Haha, yes Bill. I think he was well prepared for the flattening!
Haha. He is not going to be a push over. Well captured Ayush
Ayush Basu: Thank you very much, Janet. He gave them hell!
I'm finally back wink Please come and see my holiday photos tomorrow smile
Ayush Basu: Welcome back to my page, LC. Yep!

A man on a mission! Get that ball over the line smile
Ayush Basu: He was very nearly there Alan, sadly I do not recall right now whether this team won or not.

Is this game going on for ever Ayush?
Ayush Basu: No Chad, these shots are from the final day of 67th SCC 7s rugby. Just a couple more to wrap up this series.
Did he succeed?
Ayush Basu: He did succeed in passing the ball but I don't recall right now if this particular team ended up winning.
It's interesting that the player is wearing different color shoes...
Ayush Basu: Well observed Larry!
