photoblog image "Even A Monkey....

"Even A Monkey....

... with a camera thinks he is a photographer." I think I saw that on a tee shirt.

Anyway, I just realized that I had ended the Haw Par Villa series prematurely. So this monkey will pick up from where he left off.

Ha Ha

Very good, Ayush.

A couple of weeks ago there was a public debate over who/what should own copyright of a selfie that had been taken by a Primate.
Ayush Basu: Thank you very much Ray.
Just imagine what kind of a precedent that would set Ray, next in line would be dogs, cats, hamsters...
YAY! More India!

Great shot - I love him!
Ayush Basu: Oh this is back in Singapore Elizabeth, I picked up the Haw Par Villa series which I broke off earlier to show the India presentation.
I bet there have been many monkeys that have struck this pose in real life, Ayush. grin
Ayush Basu: Definitely! Both behind and in front of the camera, Ginnie tongue

A first glance I thought this was Mr R Trim on the street Ayush!
Ayush Basu: You mean he is traveling incognito and taking photos?! smile
BTW, belated best wishes on your birthday. I hope you had a memorable day, surrounded by friends and family.
i like this find Ayush... great shot....petersmile
Ayush Basu: The Haw Par Villa can be quite an eye opener Peter, some people absolutely love it and others have called it weird. For me, I have been making trips there every once in a while when I feel like it. Thank you for the visit Peter.

Everyone has got a camera these days, Ayush
Ayush Basu: Oh yes Elizabeth, and FB... and Instagram... smile Thank you for the comment.
Judging by a lot of the pictures on facebook the average monkey would do better grin
Ayush Basu: Good point Bill, now that you put it, I agree with you. smile
Eh eh, this is excellent Ayush!
Ayush Basu: Thank you Richard, I enjoyed your recent posts too.
It's not just the photo that's good but the modelling of this character in the first place.
Ayush Basu: Quite right Brian, and I may also point out that this place has been well maintained. Some other sections are undergoing renovation and scheduled maintenance.
I haven't been there so ages!!!
Ayush Basu: This has been renovated recently, thus the clean shiny look, LC!
Must be a 'new kid' on the block. A great shot Ayush.
Ayush Basu: That is a sensible thought Suzanne, thank you for the visit and the comment.

He looks a very civilised monkey Ayush.
Ayush Basu: Oh yes, and very professional too Chad.
Well at least he isn't using a phone.
Ayush Basu: He believes in dedicated equipment for specific functions, Michael

He has a good technique ;o)
Ayush Basu: Very patient, Mike, and he can use his tail for extra stability during those low light shots tongue

Hahah... yes, anyone with a camera these days think they are a photographer.
Ayush Basu: That tee shirt is intended for such an audience, Alan smile
LOL... I love the saying and the photo of the monkey photographer.
Ayush Basu: That tee shirt is intended for such an audience, Jacquelyn. Thank you for the visit and comment

You have to watch out for those Monkeys...
Ayush Basu: Well for once they are not purloining snacks and hissing at visitors, Cherie grin
His camera has a substantial zoom lens as well, Ayush.
Ayush Basu: Paparazzi specific equipment, perhaps. Thank you Beverly smile
I wonder how the pics come out?
Ayush Basu: Ahh, that is the question, Tom grin Thank you for the visit
