photoblog image TH16: Wat Arun

TH16: Wat Arun

Wat Arun is one of the major wats that completely dominates the skyline of Bangkok. It is right on the Chao Phraya River and opposite to the Wat Pho and Grand Palace.

On this particular day, it drizzled incessantly and I had an extreme workout for my knees clambering up the steep steps. The two grabpoles in the centre of the image should give an idea.

Did you slide down with your feet on the rails, navy style Ayush?
A colourful scene, Ayush, it looks a tad steep...smile
It gives me Vertigo just looking down those steps, unfortunately I am a genuine sufferer from that condition.
