You have cleared the crowd away nicely, Ayush.
Ayush Basu: The cat did not bother me previously but the tourists at some point did tax my patience Ray tongue
Terrific image- the colors are so vibrant!
Ayush Basu: Thank you very much Elizabeth. It seemed to be well maintained.

Ayush Basu: Thank you very much Michael. It seemed to be well maintained.

The intricacy of it all is mind blowing
Ayush Basu: and it goes on and on, all over the temple complex, Chris.
These are very beautiful Ayush
Ayush Basu: Thank you very much Bill. This place seemed to be well maintained.

This just looks so alien compared to our small world here in Britain Ayush.
Ayush Basu: And perhaps that very feeling could inspire you and some more of the SC army to some day plan a trip to Bangkok, Chad? grin
I love the detail
Ayush Basu: Thank you very much Preyi, I imagine the volume of work the artisans had to do during the construction of this wat.
I like the way your wide angle lens had made them lean in towards each other.
Ayush Basu: I like that perspective too Brian, but in the past I have been advised to avoid such distortions; it is apparently considered unacceptable by purists[?] However as you can see, I still went ahead and took this shot, as it was.
They are superb, aren't they Ayush?
Ayush Basu: I certainly felt so Richard. I was amazed at the amount of detail and how much work must have been done by artisans during the construction phase.

I really like the wide-angled POV on this wat, Ayush. It looks like the side steeples are bowing to the center one.
Ayush Basu: I have been told that photography purists do not care much for the distortion that you mentioned, Ginnie. So technically this image can be rubbish.
Wonderfully taken.
Ayush Basu: Thank you very much Jacquelyn

This must take years to paint, Ayush
Ayush Basu: I would not be surprised if they have a dedicated team all through the year painting structures around the complex. It is a bit like Cologne Dom; apparently all through the year, scaffolding can be seen somewhere along the exterior walls.

Such striking colours and a striking construction.
Ayush Basu: Yes, the architecture of Thailand certainly has a distinct identity, Alan.
Beautiful... great to love the culture here
Ayush Basu: They certainly have a distinct identity around there Ronky, thank you
Great POV Ayush! Love all the colours under that muted sky smile
Ayush Basu: Yes Martin, I liked that too. It rained quite a bit right before that and this shot was taken in the fading light of the afternoon
Hello after the break ...

Beautiful picture.
Have a nice weekend.
Greetings.
Lucia
Ayush Basu: Thank you for the greetings and the visit. You too Lucia

I love the shapes of the temples. They look so wonderful.
I bet you had a trip of a lifetime here.
Ayush Basu: The stupas of these Thai temples (or wats) have a unique identity Astrid. Thank you for the comment. I hope to visit someday again and perhaps look up Ray Storey.

I find it interesting how the wide angle and the stupas in the background combine to give a strong feeling of depth. Great shot.
Ayush Basu: Thank you for your input Louis
Terrific!
Ayush Basu: Thank you Tom
