Gone Surfing

The 26 Maldivian atolls are scattered across an expanse of about 90,000 square kilometres, making the island nation one of the most geographically expansive nations in the world. The Maldives has the distinction of being Asia’s smallest nation in both land area and population.

Here, a young woman kept scanning the horizon for her husband, gone surfing, while her son came very close to having his limbs stuck in the foldable beach chairs.

Great video again. Love these shots and I hope the kid still has 10 fingers, when he leaves the beach.
Ayush Basu: Thank you very much Astrid. He certainly had his mom exasperated.
That would have made his eyes water Ayush grin

Danger at every turn Ayush.
Ayush Basu: Oh yes, and not everybody thrives on it, unlike you Chad smile
You get great depth into these shots, Ayush. The colours are so vivid. It cheers up an English November morning.
Ayush Basu: I did have a lot of sitting and observing the colours changing with the comings and goings of the surf, Pauline. Thank you for the visit and the comment.

This looks like an ideal holiday destination. I hope the kid can swim, or she will have a busy time.

Ayush Basu: So do I EP, thank you for visiting and commenting.
That is such beautiful water.
Ayush Basu: Very beautiful indeed, the clarity and colours were amazing.
You've captured some magnificent colours here, Ayush. It seems the waves were high enough to have wet the deck. I hope her husband comes back soon to give her a hand with their mischievous son.

Enjoyed your underwater video.
