CH47: Summit

After a while of huffing and puffing, we reached the top to be greeted by this. It is possible to get back to the train station another route but that would have added another 1 hour and 25 minutes. I think we all had a fair share of the hike and wished to down some drinks, so we elected to go back the way we had come.

And with this, I would like to close the Swiss trip. I am pleased to be able to share these photos with visitors to my page and warmly thank the regular visitors, for their various thoughts and putting up with this Swiss overload.

It would be nice to sit and rest in this outhouse, with an open door, when there is no fog around.

Well composed shot, atmospheric. Although the fog obscures the view I do like the quiet atmosphere that is often created.
nice...
Not a Swiss overload at all Ayush, I have thoroughly enjoyed your photos, they have taken me to somewhere I know I will never get to see in reality.

King of the mountain! I like the "under-statement," Ayush! smile
Well this is great! Reminds me of my Dads' story of climbing Mt Fuji to try to sleep the night at the top and get a photo of the sunrise... he awoke to a snowstorm and about 6 inches visibility! smile
