CH14: Wild Flowers

As opposed to tame flowers?

Anyway, they were equally pretty and were seen on the hike to Bachalpsee. Seen in the fuzzy, shallow dof region is the blue and white structure, which house the chair-lift circuit to take skiers up during the winter months. As the name suggests, it consists of a wide chair or a bench, good for two, suspended by the rope mechanisms. The only thing stopping one's fall is a safety handbar that locks over the lap once both are seated. So the would-be skiers sit here, the skiis dangling from the feet and all. Not for me.

They look wild, Ayush...don't get too close as they might have long teeth and short tempers...

Great shot Ayush! The first shot is my favorite with the wild yellow flowers and the beautiful mountains in the distance. smile

Two gorgeous wildflower shots. Chair lifts are not for me either.
It's strange to think these lovely flowers are buried under loads of snow for a long part of the year.
Looking bright and beautiful Ayush. Love the DOF in the top one
Two lovely images of mountain wild flowers, Ayush.

Wonderful DoF in the top photograph.

You have captured the flowers beautifully.
Beautiful. Like a painting.
Beautiful flowers- and really beautiful images of them! Growing up in Wyoming our chair lifts were as you described- but without the lap bar... easier to jump out wherever you chose to launch from!

No problem at all sticking to the ground, Ayush, if you have wildflowers like these to photograph!
I prefer the wild flowers to the ski lift!

Hahahah!! I've sat on those chairlifts and have my feet dangling with skies attached... great fun. Can be nippy, though smile Some enlightened resorts now do mountain bike lifts in the summer. Not tried those yet though. I like the pretty plowers.. such beauty.

Interesting concept. Many of my country's flowers were 'tamed' and now grow in gardens allover the world. Spectacular backdrop for the flowers.

Vibrant colours in yellow and blue of the flowers
A pair of nice shots. I particularly like the shallow DOF in the first one.
Superb Macro!
