CH05: Enigmatic Gimmelwald

Not really sure what's going on here. We had stopped for a cold beer at a biergarten. Having finished, I just walked to one side and this was the view beyond the boundary. Only activity was the clucking of a hen. The condition of the Swiss flag would indicate someone is definitely about the hut. But the bench perhaps no longer enjoys favour with its owner .

I have a feeling it's a trysting place for someone, Ayush. A nice hidey-hole. smile
Ayush Basu: In a small village like Gimmelwald, there are not that many people to hide from. But I see what you mean, it certainly has that feel to it. Thank you very much for your input

Wonderful! I can just imagine the fresh mountain air and the peacefulness (despite the hen!). perhaps this is just a barn with the owner living elsewhere.
Ayush Basu: I think you're right Alan. Thank you very much
What a wonderful place, Ayush. A secret hide away.
Ayush Basu: Thank you very much, CM. Yes, a place where worries and problems may not catch up with one
Interesting Ayush and strange because I used the word 'enigmatic' in a comment on the last blog I just visited.
Ayush Basu: Thank you very much, John, for the comment and visit

Lovely little spot and again reminiscent of Heidi.
Ayush Basu: Thank you very much, Louis
Whatever its purpose it looks a fine place for a man to retire to quietly with his book and a glass of something nice.
Ayush Basu: I am there with you Brian.

Someone's country cabin I would think.
Ayush Basu: Posssibly so Mary. Thank you very much
A fine shot Ayush........it looks part of the landscape, merging with nature smile
Ayush Basu: Soon nature will completely claim this place I guess. Thank you very much, Martin
What an interesting find Ayush, someones escape perhaps.
Ayush Basu: Very likely, although with such a small population in Gimmelwald, there is nothing much to escape from
Looks like one of the Chris Phillips benches to me Ayush. Do Swiss chickens yodel?
Ayush Basu: grin Perhaps in the bathroom
Woah - a bit severe with the saturation brush, Ayush smile
Ayush Basu: A result while trying to bring out the deep shadows. Could have been better pp'ed. Thank you Tom.
That is such a nice looking cabin.
Ayush Basu: Yes it really is. Not sure about the worthiness from within

Tiff would die for a bench like that one Ayush.
Ayush Basu: He sounds like a man easily pleased, Chad
Weren't you tempted to have a peek through that open door, Ayush?
Ayush Basu: except that I couldnt locate any approach to the front door grin
Good catch... gets the mind wondering what the people inside are like.
Ayush Basu: Yes, exactly. Out of all the other manicured places, this was the only one that looked like this
What a find! I love your image!
Ayush Basu: Thank you very much, Elizabeth. This was the only place that stood out from the other places maintained at picture perfect levels.
It looks like a very lovely place in the middle of pure nature. I hope you enjoyed your cold beer a lot. smile
