This temple on Guangxiao Road is reputedly the oldest Buddhist temples in the Guangdong province. Surprisingly, it was built by an Indian monk. However much of the expansion of the temple complex took place much later during the Qing Dynasty. The halls here include the Sakyamuni Hall, Samgharama Hall, the King of Heaven Hall, and two iron towers. One of the halls had a workshop of calligraphy going. It was quite interesting to see them first fill out an template and then do the actual calligraphy. Photography was not permitted inside.
