UAE 14: Burj Al Khalifa panels

A longish view of the glass panels of the Burj Al Dubai. While taking the elevator up, we were told that there are over 20,000 windows making up how many thousands of square meters of windows. Wiki says that there's is a team of 36 cleaners requiring 3/4 months to clean all of them. At that rate I guess they will be working all year round.

This is a very cool image, Ayush! I do imagine the window cleaners are guaranteed work!
Ayush Basu: Thank you very much, Elizabeth. Yes I would think so!

What a thankless job that would be!
Ayush Basu: I'm not sure but I guess perhaps done by some overseas worker from India/Bangladesh/Myanmar/Philippines/so on.

Helluva view of the building, Ayush!
Ayush Basu: Thank you very much, Ray
Number of window cleaners is today's most used sign of power Ayush!
Ayush Basu: Cannot deny the point of your observation. Perhaps wiki will someday soon come up with a classification of the nations along this criterion!
Fancy having the contact to supply all that glass.
Ayush Basu: Well.... I guess supplying all that glass is a one time contract but maintaining that would be an ongoing one. Thank you very much, Brian
Reminds me of an old song by George Formby.

Great shot.

I guess cleaning teams can get caught up in sand storms.
Ayush Basu: Perhaps not a job to do right after a good, hearty lunch. Thank you very much, Louis
