photoblog image The Five Star Hotel [1/2]

The Five Star Hotel [1/2]

This 22 storey five star hotel building is quite close to the mouth of the river. I assume that the higher floors afford spectacular views of the land inwards such as Bukit Cina [featured later on] and the sea. But considering that the rest of the inner city is relative low and flat [most other buildings were three floors tall, some went to eight or nine at the most], this hotel building stuck out sorely.

I bet that would be a great place to stay. And probably expensive.

It looks very impressive against that blue sky. But it sounds like it has spoilt the area a bit.
Certainly makes it's presence known, Ayush.
Ayush Basu: Agreed!
clearly they are making a statement!
Ayush Basu: Definitely, Bill!
The architect obviously had "pattern shots" in mind for visiting photographers smile
Ayush Basu: That certainly is a fresh viewpoint you have provided me with, Brian smile
Really nice wide angle capture ! Ayush.
