photoblog image San Juanico Bridge

San Juanico Bridge

Taken at the San Juanico Bridge, the longest bridge in the Philippines over water, which connects the provinces of Samar and Leyte in the Philippines. With a total length of over 2 kilometers, it is considered one of the most beautiful bridges of the Philippines. Something for structural engineers to go ga-ga over.

PS: As evident, the sign did not deter me to park our vehicle and get down for several shots.

You have given it an interesting perspective, Ayush.
this is a fantastic POV Ayush i am glad that you ignored the only colour in this shot... good compositiongrin....petersmile
Very nice use of selective colour. As to the sign, rules are meant to be broken.
Gosh that is an incredible bridge - you've done such an amazing job of displaying it!! I do love the "No Parking" sign!

HA! Great selective coloring to make your point, Ayush. I love how the causeway weaves around like an eel above the water!

Meandering bridge makes a great picture Love it.
I'd say that was a photographer's rather than pedestrian's walkway! What a great subject - it's great how you've shot the bridge and it reappears in the distance smile
very nice Lady ga-ga angle Ayush!
As Ray, says - an interesting perspective that gives some idea of the scale of the bridge.

LOL! Obviously others had done similar hence the sign! I'm pleased that you chose to ignore it for this fine view.
What a fine shot of this great bridge. The color pop is great.
very well composed, the guard rails work unconventionally as "leading lines" to the rest of the bridge in the distance
Great perspective shot Ayush.
This sign could not be missed...
A picture well worth risking a parking ticket for!
WOW!
Fantastic photo.
I am impressed by the beauty.
