San Agustin Church is a Roman Catholic church and now a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is located inside the historic walled city of Intramuros in Manila. Having survived numerous earthquakes, bombings and looting by invading forces, it is the oldest existing church in the Philippines. Seen here are part of the altar and dome. The dome was quite a stunning structure for me, as it appeared to have been engraved densely. But actually the entire ceiling is a mural which employs an art technique designed to create a realistic image of three dimensional features.
