Thailand has several different dance forms. The north, south and central regions of Thailand each have their own versions of traditional classical dance as well as folk dance. One noticeable common factor was the extensive use of hands gestures. Calm and serene facial expressions were also widely used.

The hand reminds me of the wife. Great portrait.
I've seen pictures/video of women doing this but not men.
Amazing costume and jewelry, the second ring looks a bit tight on his finger .
