photoblog image London Paddington II

London Paddington II

This image was taken while waiting for the tube. Paddington station is served by several London Underground lines. I stayed around here so I took the tube quite often from this station.

PS: I notice I have some barrel distortion, not sure if it can be fixed on Photoshop or something. Something to look up on the 'net.

I thought the distortion was on purpose! I like the image!
This image added some different mood.Quite straight and practical shot. I liked the treatment here. Also could refresh my sweet memories.

No trains today then Ayush. The barrel distortion can be corrected using the Lens Correction filter in photoshop.
is this HDR, it looks like it. either way, great effect
I like this Ayush, lots of interest and a nice treatment,Les is right about Photoshop, or, you could claim it's expressionistic, how your life was distorted by waiting for trains, ha, ha!
Photoshop and most photo software will overcome it
DxO is the thing for fixing lens distortions. Nice bit of quiet hdr smile
I spent several years catching the underground from Paddington while I worked in London. Later versions of Photoshop have a lens Distortion tool under Filter > Distort. You will note several other useful options under that toll such as vignettes.

What amazes me Ayush is that you have managed to capture this place with no people. I was there yesterday: it was bedlam!
This brings back memories - many days waiting at these platforms.

I get barrel distortion from time to time also, Ayush, and as Les has already said, you can correct it with the Lens Correction filter in PS. Now you've got me thinking of Paddington Beair. smile
