Bellagio

My upcoming uploads will feature some stock images from my stay in the US in 2009. I had the opportunity to visit Las Vegas with my brother. Las Vegas is the most populous city in the state of Nevada, United States and has earned the moniker of Sin City. For millions of tourists around the world, Las Vegas is just the roughly 5km Las Vegas Boulevard, better known as the Strip. 

 

Bellagio itself is an award winning hotel and casino, inspired by the resort of Bellagio in Italy and is famed for its elegance. One of its highlights is a lake between the building and the Strip with dancing fountains in exquisite shows of water, music and light. 

 

PS: I recall some personality once described Las Vegas as being the place where "money really talks... it says bye-bye" :D

You have framed this very well Ayush....it must have been difficult to capture it this way with a 1/25 shudder speed....magnificent.....thank you for your two comments todaysmile....petersmile
Ayush Basu: Thanks Peter. Your observation is quite right, I recall there was a convenient parapet where I was able to brace my elbows while taking this image.

A terrific image. The bit about money saying goodbye made me fall off my chair laughing!

Beautiful capture, I never got it this right.
Did they play Big Spender? It was wonderful to see the fountains dance to that number.

My daughters went to Las Vegas for Helen's 21st and they loved it...and neither of them gamble!

I have been to Bellago but not Vegas,great image
Really a tough shot to capture so clearly the artificial fountain. Effect of light on the building top tower is very brilliant as well as the detail work of water fountain flow. Capturing the night dark blackish back ground with the contrast building made the shot very unique. Who visited Las Vegas can reshuffle the interesting memories.Very nice shot.

It is true that this hotel looks good! This ballet of water adds a special magic to your image of sublime night!
