Sun, sand and shelter

Another shot of the beach in Trikora. It was a beautiful, sunny day last December which was uncharacteristic since that period of the year is typically rainy season. So utilizing the opportunity, people happily went forth swimming, fishing, kite surfing and taking speed rides on a variety of inflatable rafts tugged by power boats. On the beach, tourists lazed around in these shelters, local youngsters played football and kids built sandcastles. Rains did come over the next couple of days though.

Ohhh if i could only be there right now Ayush....but the weather warmed up this week and we got to clean and fill our hot tub Saturday and use it the next morning....but the lake is still frozen over....petersmile

Such a lovely place.
My daughter and her new husband are currently in the Maldives, it must be something like this.
Wonderful - with turquoise waters, fluffy white clouds, swaying palm trees and shady palapas - I could use a bit of that.

Cabanas on the beach at Paradise's end. I love the glimpse of the sea through the cabanas...
