Not a Ferrari fan, but nice shot anyway
I've never seen a live Formula 1 race. Great photography. A greeting.
Ayush Basu: Thanks Pedro
Another good try Ayush, can I suggest you letter box it, ie. take off the barrier at the top and most of the gravel in the foreground, they draw the eye away from the main subject.
Ayush Basu: Good tip Brian, thanks
Nice panned shots. Well done.
Ayush Basu: Thanks a lot.

Good try. Dropping to 1/250 (on a straight track) or even lower (on a curve) should get you more blur in the background and even better effect. By the way, both my hubby and son are Lamborghini fans, so if you could make raging bull your next subject, it will be much appreciated ;-)
Ayush Basu: Thanks for your input Serline smile I will be on the lookout for a raging bull!
Another 'cool' shot in this series! I emailed your link to my brother, a huge fan of F1. grin
Ayush Basu: Thanks a bunch, Alexandra
I'm envious. An exciting image, Ayush.
Ayush Basu: Thank you very much Graeme

Ayush Basu: Appreciate your input Peter, I might put up one final similar shot.

I see in your EXIF that f is 22. That is quite high for panning (depending on what result you want). If the idea is to get the car sharper, you can obtain more shutterspeed with an f around 10 or even 7.

But then, if the idea is to have a little speed blur on the car and lots of speed blur from the surroundings - you are spot-on.
Ayush Basu: Yeah that was probably not the best way I went about it. And this is why I like this forum on Shutterchance to pick up some nice tips. Cheers mate!
I like the red and green color combination. This image jumps off the screen!
Ayush Basu: Thanks a bunch Doug
nice one

I see you're in Program mode for this..

Try Tv Mode
Set the Speed to 1/60
let the aperture set itself.

Watch the blur blow you away

Cheers
Rob
Ayush Basu: Thanks for the tip Rob. Well the F1 is over but I will try to work it out on 'normal' cars
