Basilica di Santa Maria Novella, Firenze

A lovely day in Florence. Deep blue skies, pleasant temperature, beautiful spot filled with awed tourists. I enjoyed the Renaissance facade and the interior is no less stacked with masterpieces (in terms of paintings, frescoes, woodwork and sculptures). This late 13th century basilica is right next to the railway station. Right in front of the basilica is Piazza Santa Maria Novella which is one of the biggest squares in the historical city center of Florence.

Great place to visit
It has great detail,lovely building, good colours too! smile

I missed Florence when we were on our cruise Ayush we went to Pizza instead....thank you for showing me this well framed Basilica di Santa Maria Novella....smile
