Snapshots from Deutschland: Markt Fountain

This is yet another image taken at the Markt area of Aachen. Right in the centre of the plaza in front of the city hall is a large fountain. At the top of fountain is a statue of Charlemagne and the base is as seen here. This fountain is turned off in winter due to obvious reasons. In the background a group of tourists on a guided tour are seen in front of the pharmacy.

Nice in B&W Ayush. I wish I could remember Aachen, mind you it was 1966 when I went.
