Trains & Planes

The London Underground and an airplane on its way to London Heathrow. I was on the Piccadilly Line on my way to LHR to receive someone at the airport, when we were told to de-train at this station; our particular ride had been vandalized at the previous station. While we were waiting here on the platform waiting for another train to be brought into service, I noticed this aircraft low in the sky. I happened to have my camera and hurriedly tried to grab a shot; in hindsight, I could have done better.

Two types of transport in one shot but what a nuisance, all because of some idiot.

You have the stillness of the train, motion in the plane and candid's of people, not bad for a quick shotsmile

nice capture
This whole shot looks good to me, especially as it was "spur of the moment". Most of us think we could have done better, given time to compose and set up. You didn't, so I think this is great.

Ah, we always feel like we should have or could have done better. I personally like this. The little element of seeing the structure through the door and window is terrific.
Ayush Basu: I got very lucky with the lighting I guess, it could have very well turned out to be a pitch dark interior of the train with something quite featureless visible through the window.
What a presence of mind. Captured both Train and Plane same time in quick action. Great !
