Bruges, sometimes called the Venice of Belgium owing to the multitude of canals, has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It features ample medieval architecture, cobbled streets and narrow waterways. Here, this picture was taken in the early hours of the morning, hence the low angle of sun light and the dark waters. At that hour, none of the tourist boats were plying and the waters were exceptionally calm helping the mirror like quality of the reflection.
