Palais Royal de Bruxelles is the official palace of the King of the Belgians in the centre of the nation's capital Brussels, even though it is not the royal residence. His Majesty conducts here, his affairs as the Head of State and grants audiences. In front of the palace is the Brussels Park. A long square called the Place des Palais separates the palace from the park. On the opposite side of the park is the Palace of the Nation, housing the Belgian Parliament. At that time of the day, the lighting wasn't quite what I wanted but we were headed elsewhere, so I had to make do.
