Wedding at San Agustin

This church has been the site of Spanish surrender of Manila to the United States of America and was turned into a concentration camp for prisoners during WWII. It has seen bombardment of the Intramuros and withstood earthquakes. Today it is a popular venue for weddings. A happy couple tied the knot, smiled for the multitude of cameras and released a couple of doves at the entrance.


Also seen at the left side are some of the fourteen side chapels on both sides.

What a history for this cool wedding venue.
It is very ornate and it is hard to imagine it being a concentration camp.
Looks an interesting place to visit Ayush well captured.
What I wouldn't give to visit this wonderful building Ayush, and you were so lucky to get this wedding going on at the same time.
